Most Sundays, we meet at 1:30 PM at Woodlawn Theatre. Because we share the space with a music academy, a few Sundays each year require an earlier service time.
On the following dates, our worship service will be held at 9:00 AM:

December 6 and 13
These are temporary schedule adjustments - our regular service time remains 1:30 PM. Please plan accordingly and check back for reminders and updates.

Community & Small Groups
Life is better together!
At Way City, we believe faith grows in the context of authentic relationships. That’s why we offer Small Groups. These are spaces to pray, learn, and walk through life with others.
Our small groups begin on Wednesday, March 11th, and will meet weekly for 6 weeks @ 6:30 PM at Innovation Depot. This six-week gathering is designed to help us experience the gospel more deeply in our everyday lives through teaching and breakout discussions. Join us as we grow together in grace, community, and renewed dependence on Christ.

Leadership
Hi, we’re Pastor Dan and Mwanna!
Dan Edwards is the Lead Pastor and Church Planter of The Way City Church in Birmingham, Alabama. He has over fifteen years of ministry experience, including serving as an Associate Pastor at Harvest Community Church. Dan completed a Church Planting Residency at Church of the Cross (EPC) from 2024–2025. But he attributes his most formative training to his early ministry experience assisting his father in planting a church in Pensacola, Florida, during his teenage years. Dan received his Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School in the summer of 2024 and is currently pursuing ordination in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
